A large township east of Limbe, almost entirely affordable housing and rooms. Prices are among the lowest in the city and most deals are done directly between the parties.
About Blantyre
Malawi's commercial capital and its oldest city. Unlike Lilongwe, Blantyre goes by named suburbs, and the names carry a lot of information about price: the ridge suburbs above the city — Namiwawa, Nyambadwe, Sunnyside, Kabula — are the established, expensive addresses, while Ndirande, Bangwe, Chilomoni and Chirimba are the big, dense, affordable townships. Limbe is a second commercial centre in its own right.
